my cranberry red jacket has been pulled out of the closet. my collection of scarves is currently in rotation. i have had a pumpkin spice latte. fall is here.
and now, so am i! my apologies for being a bit m.i.a the last few weeks; what with the end of summer and sporadic trips home to massachusetts and philadelphia, getting organized as i prepare to apply to mfa programs, and various (exciting!) upcoming projects, i feel negligent towards jillyink. and i feel bad. so as a peace offering and a glimpse into what i’ve been working on recently, i present to you two finished illustration projects:
this is a design i created for the young to publishing (ypg) group to be used on bookmarks given out at various industry seminars:
the next is a logo i created for my very good friend alexis buryk, a burgeoning photographer/actress now living in chicago. she’s just started shooting head shots and portraits for students, performers and friends. we’re working on getting a website started for her, but in the meantime you can see her amazing work at http://www.flickr.com/photos/pantalonesenfuego.
more to come soon – enjoy this gorgeous october day!
